Kids of the Kingdom - October 1st

On October 1st, we had 22 kids (Preschool - 5th grade) join us for our first Kids of the Kingdom!  We started with a "treasure" hunt outside with the kids reading clues to located 5 different places outside where we had a quick little lesson about Jesus being our Rest, Shelter, Strong Tower, the vine and the way, the truth and light. At each spot they collected beads and a memory verse card. Then it was in for snacks and a short video.  Emersyn Thede and Emeryn Bierstedt put on a great skit which led into Pastor's lesson about Jesus being THE Way, Truth and Light.  Crafts for the day included painting a "One Way" door hanger and cross bracelets with the beads they colleted. A Walk in the Pipho Farm Garden - September 10th

On Wednesday, a group of ladies had the priviege of walking through the flower gardens of Duane and Deb Pipho, Denver Iowa!  A beautiful day!  Many thanks to Deb for her hospitality in sharing their beautiful flowers with us!
